Last day of our Gr. 9 French Immersion trip to Quebec. The group travelled to Montreal in the morning to catch their flight home, but not before fitting in a special visit to St Joseph’s Oratory and some sites in Old Montreal! Among all the blessings on this fantastic journey, may God continue to bless the memories and life-changing growth that occurred on this trip! Thank you to Madame Mclaughlin for organizing and leading such a great trip, and all our staff chaperones who helped run a smooth experience for our group. We visited Okotoks-area elementary schools (St. Mary’s School, École Good Shepherd School, St. Francis of Assisi Academy) yesterday to present information about St. JPII’s Gr. 7 Late French Immersion program. This is a great opportunity to find out more about “What to Expect in a Catholic School” especially for those who have questions about the student experience in our schools. The topic of this next meeting was chosen in response to parent feedback we received in September, and so we encourage you to come and explore this theme with other parents!
